O.P.T.I.O.NS ACADEMY

Connecting Family • School • Community for Student Success

The Titus 2 O.P.T.I.O.NS (Opportunities, Pathways, Training, Inspiration, Next Steps) Academy is a quarterly student–parent cohort designed to strengthen the connection between family, school, and community while equipping high school students with the tools they need for academic success, emotional regulation, and career readiness.

Our mission is to provide students with strong, supportive pathways that help them discover their strengths, explore future opportunities, and make informed, confident choices about their next steps.

About the Program

The O.P.T.I.O.NS Academy brings students and their parent/guardian together four times a year for powerful, interactive sessions focused on:

  • Academic Progress & Support
    Study skills, time management, goal-setting, progress checks, and strategies to stay on track.

  • Social-Emotional Growth
    Emotional regulation, communication, conflict resolution, confidence-building, and coping skills.

  • Career Exploration & Development
    Career assessments, exposure to career pathways, speakers and mentors, résumé development, and visits to colleges, training programs, and industry partners.

In addition to quarterly sessions, students and families receive ongoing communication, support, and access to Titus 2 Foundation resources.

1. What is the Titus 2 OPTIONS Academy?

O.P.T.I.O.NS (Opportunities, Pathways, Training, Inspiration, Options, Next Steps) Academy is a program for high school students and their parent/guardian that focuses on academic progress, emotional regulation, and career exploration. 2. Who can participate?

The program is open to high school students (grades 9–12) along with a parent or guardian who can attend quarterly sessions.

3. How often does the Academy meet?

Sessions are held once per quarter during the school year. Each session includes both a student component and a parent/guardian component.

Students engage in activities and discussions centered around:

  • Academic success and progress monitoring

  • Emotional regulation and stress management

  • Career pathways, college readiness, and workforce skills

  • Leadership, decision-making, and goal-setting

5. What will parents/guardians learn?

Parents attend parallel sessions focused on:

  • Supporting teens emotionally and academically

  • Understanding career pathways and opportunities

  • Strengthening communication and family relationships

  • Accessing community resources and tools

  • Strategies to support consistent school success

6. Is there a cost to participate?

Most O.P.T.I.O.NS Academy activities are offered at no cost to families through the Titus 2 Foundation and community partnerships. If any event includes a fee or special requirement, families will be notified in advance.

7. Are transportation or accommodations available?

Transportation support may be available for some events depending on location and partnerships. Families can indicate needs on the registration form or contact us directly for assistance.

8. Do students receive ongoing support between sessions?

Yes. Students and families receive periodic check-ins, resources, reminders, and opportunities for additional activities or field trips.
